Meet Maryke Botha
Dance Instructor and Founder
My dance journey began at just 4 years old. After years of training in acrobatics, modern, tap, hip-hop and funk, I qualified as a professional dance teacher in 2013. In 2023 I opened Rising Star Dance Studio to share my lifelong passion with the Polokwane community.
To me, dance is so much more than just movement — it is a journey of passion, personal growth and pure happiness.

Originality, difficulty level, use of space and overall impact of the routine.
Score Levels
High Gold, Gold, Silver and Bronze are common. A “Gold Buzzer” is a special recognition for outstanding performance.
